Clayton is the partner in charge of the audit division of McClure & Wolf, LLP.  He is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.  He is a 2007 summa cum laude graduate of the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management/ Accounting.

As a partner in charge of the audit division, Clayton supervises and coordinates the audits performed by the firm.  He also serves as the firm’s quality control director ensuring continued compliance with the ever-changing audit and accounting standards.  A majority of his audit experience over the years has been in the nonprofit, governmental, and employee-benefit plan audit areas.  In addition, Clayton provides consulting, accounting, and tax services for a variety of clients in the medical, manufacturing, construction, information technology, and service industries.

Clayton is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA).  He currently serves on the PICPA’s committee on Government Accounting and Auditing.

In addition to his role as partner at McClure and Wolf, LLP, Clayton has been an adjunct and full-time professor of accounting at the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg.  During his time teaching, Clayton has taught numerous courses in accounting, taxation, and accounting information systems.  Over the years, Clayton has also served on the board, and as treasurer, of several local nonprofits including the Fayette County Cultural Trust, Connellsville Lions Club, and the Connellsville Soccer Club.  In addition to serving on the board of the Connellsville Soccer Club, Clayton has coached several soccer teams over the years.  Clayton lives in Uniontown and has three children.
